Yes! That's a real blast from the past. At that time I was a full-time artist living in Northern California. It was 1979. I moved to Monterey right after graduating from KU. I was commissioned to do 10 or 12 interior illustrations for the Star Man book and the cover. I think I had something like 25 days to do all of it. It was a lot of fun.
After I came back to the Midwest, I was a fortunate enough get a few paintings in major national collections. I have work in the National Air & Space Museum, the Truman Museum and the Air Force Art Collection.
